Our Mission
swissstaffing is the center of excellence for staff leasing companies in Switzerland. As an employers’ association, swissstaffing represents the interests of its members in matters of policy, the economy and society. swissstaffing promotes the industry’s interests and works actively to enhance the image of temporary work.
Our history
swissstaffing has been involved in Switzerland's staff leasing sector for over 50 years. SVUTA (the Swiss association for temporary employment and private recruitment companies) was founded in 1968 with the aim of representing the industry's interests and providing professional services for the rapidly increasing need for temporary workers and flexible employment options. SVUTA merged with VPS (the association of Swiss HR consultants) in 1998 under the new name VPDS, opening membership of the Association up to employment agencies and HR consultancy firms. In 2006, the Association was renamed swissstaffing.
